The Fanhome Fast & Furious Dodge Charger is DONE.
After months of screwing, snapping, cursing, and Chrome-polishing, the beast is finally complete: the Fanhome 1:8 scale Dodge Charger from Fast & Furious has rolled off the ThunderLab assembly line.
This isn’t just any model—it’s a full-metal tribute to Dom Toretto’s iconic ride, complete with working suspension, lights, opening trunk, and an engine block so detailed I’m considering asking it to power my lawnmower. From the massive rear tires to the menacing supercharger poking out of the hood, every piece has clicked into place, and yes—so have a few of my sanity fragments.
Highlights from the final stretch:
-
The full body mount was as tense as a NOS countdown.
-
The doors, hood, and trunk are all perfectly aligned (after some “gentle encouragement”).
-
That California license plate? Let’s just say it might not be DMV approved.
This build has been a blast—and a bit of a bumpy ride—but it was worth every minute. Whether you're a fan of the films, a gearhead at heart, or just someone who appreciates a beautiful hunk of diecast glory, this one earns a permanent spot in the garage (aka display shelf).
Thanks to everyone who followed along. Stay tuned—because in the ThunderLab, there’s always another project in the works.
Next up: Will it be metal, wood, brick… or sentient?
