ThunderLab Build Update: The Fast & Furious Dodge Charger Gets Its Swagger
Share
This weekend was all about doors, trunks, chrome, and questionable legality. I’m thrilled to report that the Fast & Furious Dodge Charger build is coming together—faster than Dom can say “family.”
✅ Both doors are now fully assembled and swinging like they mean business. They’re solid, they’re sleek, and they close with that satisfying click that’s almost as rewarding as an actual car door thud.
✅ The trunk is installed, complete with functioning latches. Yep—this thing opens and shuts like a real trunk. Is there anything more satisfying than a tiny mechanism doing its job perfectly? I think not.
✅ And let’s talk chrome. The rear bumper is now on, gleaming like it's ready to star in a high-octane action sequence. I also added a definitely-legit California license plate, which may or may not be DMV-approved. ThunderLab takes no responsibility for any miniature citations.
We’re inching ever closer to the big moment: mating the body to the frame. Once that happens, it’s going to look like it just peeled out of the Universal Studios backlot.
More updates soon—next stop: final assembly, glorious shine, and maybe a burnout or two (just pretend, of course).
Stay tuned,
